NOTE: The following tables show that the translators of the most popular and best selling "Bible" of all time, the King James Version, were not always consistent in their renderings of the same name, whether the name was in the Ibriy (Hebrew) or in the Greek. In many cases, the Ibriy name as rendered in English is so far from the original in sound and spelling that the person to whom the name belonged would probably not recognize it if he heard it spoken or saw it written.
There could be a number of legitimate reasons for this happening, but none that would ever make it okay. Because of things like this, there is much confusion and division among those would know what the truth really is. To use the correct pronunciation of an individual's name is a good place to start in eliminating that confusion and division.
The Strong's Ibriy and Greek dictionaries are the major source for the pronunciation and definition of all of the following. Though this is a work of man, I have found some authoritative documents that refute some of James Strong's works concerning original pronunciation and definitions. Where that authoritative contrary evidence is found and is incontrovertible, the non-Strong's spelling and pronunciation is used.
These prophets all spoke in the name of Yahuwah and many of them prophesied the coming of Yahushua.
