If you are a Jehovah's Witness

Below are some questions arising from your publication, “What Does the bible REALLY Teach?” See if you can give me a good scriptural answer to any of them. If you cannot, and I do believe that will be the case if you are honest with yourself, then you need to rethink your doctrines and your affiliation with the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society.

From where do get the name “JEHOVAH?” Where in the original language scripture do you find that name expressed? Since the letter “J” has never been a part of either the Greek or Ibriy (Hebrew) alphabets, and the letter “V” appears to not have been either, the name “Jehovah” appears to be a modern English invention and not one heard in Greek and Ibriy speaking nations. (The same is true of the name “JESUS.”) Also, why did your elders who are supposedly “Bethelites” recently tell a reporter that the name YAHWEH was probably closer to the correct pronunciation than was JEHOVAH? Do they not KNOW what His true name really is?

In light of Psalm 102:25-26, 2 Keph (Peter) 3:10-13 and Revelation 20:11 and 21:1, how do you rationalize your belief that this planet earth will be a paradise lasting forever?

In Loukas (Luke) 24:39 Yahushua says plainly that He is NOT a spirit. How do you reconcile that with your doctrine that He was not physically resurrected but instead rose “spiritually?” By accepting this lie of Judge Rutherford you are in fact calling our Savior a liar too.

Revelation 1:7 says that when Yahushua returns EVERY EYE will see Him. If in fact He returned, spiritually and invisibly in 1914, why was Charles Taze Russell the only one to see Him? Again, did Yahushua lie?

How have you derived the various “classes” of “Christians” when scripture teaches that all are one, unified in the Spirit.

How does one move from the “Jonadab” class to the “Davidic” class? Does anyone in the “Davidic” class ever revert to the “Jonadab” class? Where in scripture are these "classes" defined?

Many JW women of old have made the claim, and some JW men have confirmed their claims, that they are part of the 144,000 who will reside in “heaven.” Since Revelation 14:4 in ALL translations, including the New World Translation, says that every one of the 144,000 are MEN, how can that be possible?

If the soul, intelligence, memories, etc., do not survive brain death, then how are the events of the passages 1 Shemuw’el (Samuel) 28:12-19 and MattithYahuw (Matthew) 17:3 possible? Also, why then would Yahushua use a parable of a rich and poor man that expressly says that the rich man went to She’owl/Hades and El'azar to the "bosom of Abraham?"

Most importantly, if what you say is true, how could Yahushua die, been buried, and then be resurrected? That sequence of events is exactly what the immersion (baptism) represents. If your doctrine is true, there is no Savior!

If the “life ceases at brain death” doctrine is correct, why bother with trying to do anything right? Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die, would seem to be the correct attitude to have in that case. Also who or what are the "spirits" that are the “demons” that inhabit bodies that do not belong to them?

If the “lake of fire” where scripture says disobedient souls will be tormented forever (Rev 14:9-11) does not exist, then why is scripture so adamant about the place. Why does Yahushua use analogies with the Valley of the Son of Hinnom so many times to illustrate His point about the place?

You agree in many publications that “Jehovah” is the “First and the Last” and use the scriptural references such as YashaYahuw (Isaiah) 41:4, 44:6, and 48:12 to prove that statement. Of whom then is Revelation 1:11, 1:17, 2:8, and 22:13 speaking?

Since “Jehovah” is the First and the Last and by your definitions “Jehovah” cannot die, then who died and returned to life as described in Revelation 2:8?

On page 58 of your book, “What Does the Bible Really Teach?” you make the statement that the personality of each individual is annihilated at brain death so there is no “immortal soul” that lives on after death. On page 65 of that same publication you make the statement that “the dead are sleeping.” Which one is correct?

If she’owl is a “common grave of humanity,” why does Yahushua talk about the “rich man” being in torment? Also, why is there more than one level of she’owl?

As you can see if you have honestly considered and answered the above questions from scripture, your faith is not from scripture, but is concocted out of the mind of a man. Charles Taze Russell started the group, but it seems today that most JWs don't want to talk about him and his claims, except the one about Yahushua returning invisibly and Russell being the ONLY person that could see Him.

Have you ever considered that the stance of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society is that you must "publish" many tracts for six months to prove yourself a "good JW" before you can even be "baptized" into that faith? Do you not realize that is salvation by works and not of grace?

Awake! Read and study the true scripture (I highly recommend "The Sacred Scriptures of Yahuwah, Restored Names Version" that is available on from the Links to the RNV link on the menu bar above) and find true salvation in obedience to Yahuwah (His REAL name) instead of a false sense of security through some man-made organization.

If you are interested in seeing many more practices of your religion that are contrary to scripture, contact me and I will send them to you. As always, I also stand ready to discuss any material on this page. I will discuss, I will NOT argue.
